We just shipped three huge feature updates that we are certain will make your experience with CrewFire 10x better.
These features will help with building a community within CrewFire. We wanted to give ambassadors and admins even more options for having dynamic conversations and a chance to connect all within CrewFire.
Our newest feature updates include:
- Reddit-style replies to comments
- Emoji reactions to comments
- Public ambassador profiles
Let's dive in and talk about each of these new features!
Replies to Comments in Community
This is a new feature that is going to do BIG things for promoting continuous conversation in the community board.
Ambassadors and admins now have a way to reply directly to comments on a post in the Community Tab.
We created this feature with a Reddit-style forum in mind, and designed it to keep the conversation flowing!
As you can see, you can now reply to the original post, and keep the conversation going!
The hope for this new feature is to encourage more conversation and for ambassadors to get to know each other on a much deeper level!
Emoji Reactions to Comments
I'm sure you are familiar with the feature of reacting to a comment, since it's a popular feature on other social media platforms, such as Instagram and Facebook.
And now you have it on CrewFire too!
We asked our community of ambassadors to vote for their choice of Emojis and now we have six Emojis that admins and ambassadors have to choose from when reacting to comments on the community board.
The lineup includes: 🔥 😭 😂 🥰 🥳 💗
But rest assured, if your favorite Emoji is missing, soon enough, we are going to have the whole lineup available for you to react with on the community tab and throughout CrewFire!
Public Ambassador Profiles
Admins were always able to learn more about an ambassador when clicking on their profile in the admin view, but now, ambassadors can do the same!
If you are an ambassador or in the ambassador portal, you can now click any ambassador's name in CrewFire, and you will be able to see their public profile.
In their public profile, you will be able to see their activity history, points, and social media handles.
Ambassadors can now go and follow/engage with their teammates on social media all within CrewFire.
This is only the beginning, as we are going to expand public ambassador profiles to include bios, personal links, and content created specifically for their profiles.
