CrewFire Product Changelog
We are always hard at work creating new product features and listening to our customer requests. CrewFire is constantly evolving, and below you will find our master list of product changes, dating back to June 2020.

January 12th, 2021
Here is our first feature bug report of the year! Here is what we have been up to over the past few weeks:
- New Feature: We now notify admins when a new order has been placed
- ~ Soon, we will have a feature where we will notify ambassadors when they make a sale, so check back for that!
- We made a change so email addresses are not cap-sensitive, so you can use lower or uppercase letters and will be able to login normally
- ~ Some people found that they were having issues logging in because there were capital letters in the email saved on their profile, but we have fixed that now, so you can use capital or lowercase with ease
- All engagement posts from November and before have now been archived
- ~ Ambassadors will only be able to go to the engagement tab when there is a new post, and it will automatically archive after 24 hours
- We restored a second pass for ambassadors when they go to complete a Share Activity
- ~ Now, ambassadors will be taken to an instruction page where they will be able to download the content that they are supposed to share before they get redirected to their social media page
- Bug: When an admin went to make a new reward, they would type the title and then begin to type the description and the reward would disappear
- ~ This has been fixed and restored to normal
- Bug: There were issues with notifications not going out to various admins and ambassadors
- ~ This has been restored to normal and if you are still not receiving notifications, please whitelist notifications@crewfire.com to see if that helps!
December 17th, 2020
Here are the features and updates we have made over the past week:
- New Feature: You can now put a cap on submissions
- ~ This will help reduce duplicate activities and make sure ambassadors are submitting content on schedule
- New Feature: We implemented a 'forgot password' reset button
- New Feature: We added an 'eye' icon on the login page so anyone can view the password they just wrote
- ~ This will help ambassadors/admins be sure they entered the right password
- New Feature: We added a feature so admins can change the position of the custom fields on signup forms
- ~ This will help you have more flexibility when creating your signup forms and you won't have to delete and re-upload your custom fields!
- New Feature: Signup Ambassador - Allow signed in users to join company
- ~ This will help make it easier for ambassadors to join several different companies with the same email address and can switch to their active accounts while their application for a new company is pending
- Changed the text for submissions on the ambassador view to be more condensed
- Bug: Signup forms weren't working and were being redireced to a login page
- ~ This has been restored to normal
December 10th, 2020
Here are the updates we have made over the last six days:
- The image for rewards are now clickable
- Improved design/layout for applicants on mobile
- A WYSIWYG editor is now available when creating reward descriptions
- In the community tab, posts are now sorted by most recent comments
- A delete button is now available for archived activities
- The option to manually upload Share Activities is now available
- Bug: Notifications were not working for certain admins/ambassadors but we deployed a fix for this issue
- Bug: YouTube videos wouldn't unpack in the community tab, but we fixed this so now you can post YouTube videos, just like before!
- Bug: Some points weren't showing up correctly, but we changed that for the ambassadors affected and now all points should be accurately recorded

Here are the updates we made over the last week:
- New Feature: There are three new updates to the community tab which will make communication and engagement that much more robust on CrewFire!
- ~ Ambassadors now have a rich editor when they go to make a post, so they can post images, videos, links,and more
- ~ Admins can click on the like button and see who liked the post
- ~ Ambassadors can now edit their comments
- Bug: Ambassadors were getting an 'unexpected error' message when trying to switch from one account to another
- ~ This issue has been resolved and ambassadors can switch accounts with ease
- Bug: Some admins were getting an 'unexpected error' message when clicking on a link for a new activity on mobile
- ~ This has been restored to normal and admins and ambassadors can click on a link and get directed to the new activity
- Bug: The dimensions were off on the rewards tab on mobile, but this has been restored to normal
- ~ We also adjusted the height of the reward image so everything looks polished and uniform
- ~ This has been restored to normal and admins and ambassadors can click on a link and get directed to the new activity

December 1st, 2020
Here are the updates we made over the last week and a half:
- Bug: Admins couldn't export pending rewards
- ~ We restored this to normal, so now you can export all of your pending rewards
- Bug: Some ambassadors weren't receiving emails that said if their submissions for a Submission Activities was approved/rejected
- ~ This was resolved and now all ambassadors will get an email to know the status of their submission!
- We created a pop-up message to let ambassadors know they can't perform a Share Activity for Instagram on desktop
- Ambassadors now have the ability to switch brands from their profile. This is extremely helpful for ambassadors that work with more than one brand!
- Bug: Ambassadors were getting an error message when they tried to submit content for submissions
- ~ This only affected a small population of ambassadors, but now it has been restored and ambassadors should have no issues submitting content
- Bug: Some ambassadors were getting a Social Networks "Connection Timed Out" error message, but this has been resolved
- You can now invite potential ambassadors to join your team via email directly in CrewFire and have the option to customize the email invite in the customization settings
- Bug: When a new submission went out, not every ambassador was receiving a notification
- ~ After running some tests, we were able to resolve this bug and notifications will now go out to all of your ambassadors when you post a new activity
- We changed the location of where you can see how many active ambassadors you have. You can find the number right next to the 'export to CSV' button under the 'ambassador' tab
- Bug: When a new submission went out, not every ambassador was receiving a notification
- ~ This issue has been resolved and communication about a new activity is back to functioning normally
- Bug: Some admins were having trouble creating and submitting submission activties, but this has been resolved
- Bug: Some admins were receiving Facebook popup says "invalid app ID"
- ~ This issue has been solved and admins and ambassadors shouldn't get an 'invalid app ID' message anymore
- Bug: Rejected applicants were getting notifications from CrewFire
- ~ This has been solved so now, if an ambassador is rejected, they will only get a rejection email from CrewFire and no other program details
- Bug: Rejected applicant showing up on the ranking
- ~ This bug has been fixed so now the ranking will only reflect active ambassadors
- We restored the spacing for each edit page for an activity so there is proper and ample space for you to create activities!
- Bug: Duplicate submissions were being submitted when an ambassador clicked the 'submit' button more than once, but this issue has been resolved. Now, you will only get one submission per ambassador
- Bug: The footer was crowding the bottom of the page on mobile and making it difficult for ambassadors to submit content
- ~ This has been restored to normal

November 20th, 2020
Here are the updates we made over the last two days:
- Added a new way to approve a post you want to boost for an engagement activity
- ~ Admins will now be able to approve or archive an engagement posts directly from the engagement tab if you have chosen to opt in for approving the post before it is sent to your ambassadors
- Bug: The ability to send a message to all ambassadors wasn't working but now it is restored and functioning as normal
- Bug: Some ambassadors weren't able to log into their accounts
- ~ This bug should be fixed but we are in current development to ensure every ambassador has an easy time logging into their CrewFire account
- Bug: There was an issue earlier with points not showing up on approved submissions, but now the points will reflect and appear next to the submission after you select 'approve'
- Bug: There was no delete button for rewards, but now you will be able to delete or archive an activity you don't want listed anymore
- ~ The layout for rewards is much cleaner now as well! You will be able to see the image you select on the admin side, just like you would on the ambassador side
- Bug: There was an issue where ambassadors could not see the content they submitted for a submission/UGC activity, but now they will be able to see what they posted and the feedback from the admin

November 18th, 2020
This week, we launched the new CrewFire platform. With any new product, there were some small bugs and issues that needed to be sorted out. Below is a summary of what we have fixed and the features we have updated leading up to Wednesday, November 18th!
- We shipped our new product! Despite the slight hiccups, the new platform will be faster, more intuitive and has more polish!
- Added new elements at the bottom of the main dashboard:
- ~ Added containers at the bottom for easy navigation and to help you jump to the activity you want to go to
- ~ One graph that easily shows program statistics, sorted by day for easy viewing
- Feature update: Now there is a modal with extra questions for ambassadors to answer after they have been approved by an admin. This is 100% optional!
- Submissions on ambassadors side: Now they can see what they posted, what they wrote, if the submission was approved or rejected and the comment from the admin
- There is now a way for you to manage ambassador submissions for a submission/UGC activity
- ~ You will be able to see how many pending activities you have to approve or reject from the submission/UGC dashboard
- ~ You now have the ability to undo a submission you approved or rejected
- Now ambassadors will be instructed to add their full name when signing up so you will have an easier time organizing your ambassadors
- The ratio of an image in the community tab has been fixed on mobile
- ~ Before, it was tight and long and now it fits to the page
- If you ask your ambassadors to put their phone number in one of the fields for sign up, then it will automatically be copied over into the settings
- ~ If you do this, that means your ambassadors will automatically be opted in to receive SMS notifications
- Bug: Points are now available next to the rewards. When we first shipped, they weren’t available
- Bug: There were no points showing up for the month of November in the ranking but now that is fixed
- Bug: Approval and rejection emails for submissions weren’t being set to ambassadors, but now that is back to functioning normally
- Bug: There was an issue seeing sub-menu options (like pending orders, rewards orders etc) on mobile view but that has been restored
- Bug: The sign up form configuration was off for sign up forms on mobile and desktop but now it has been restored
- Bug: The email was case sensitive for sign in but it has been restored to normal
- Bug: The margin between submission/UGC has been been changed to have a space between each element

Here are the updates we made during this week:
- Enabled a floating support widget on the ambassador dashboard
- Changed the "Customization Settings" page fields are now bigger and expandable
- WYSIWYG formatting editor is now available
- Ambassadors can post in the community by default
- Payouts are now a $50 minimum, for bank & PayPal
- Added the ability for brands to view archived campaigns
- Changed file upload limit to 50mb
- Include manually rewarded points in rankings calculations
- Support line breaks on welcome/invite emails

Here are the updates we made during this week:
- Update the features setting page:
- ~ Changed the verbiage - ‘groups’ is now ‘teams’
- ~ Moved “ambassadors can post in the community” under the “functionality” tab
- ~ Create a new Functionality element under "Require approval for new ambassadors", called: "Post-Approval Form" Subheadline = "Create additional form fields for new ambassadors to fill out after they've been approved."
- Improved updates to campaign submissions
- ~ Put comment box above approve/reject buttons (instead of an additional modal) to remove click
- ~ Admins can't view the full contents of text submitted in the submission campaign
- Fixed the bug in the community section to make the H1 setting a normal size
- Fixed the bug of ambassador settings not showing up
- Force ambassadors to connect a social before hashtag campaigns
- Show whether socials are connected on the ambassador page
- Update "New Community Post" email to remove the blank post title
- Hide rankings from ambassadors if admin disables the feature

- Put a limit on the number of redeem per rewards
- Made the admin usable on mobile
- ~ Able to hide menu and wrap tabs
- Updated email notifications
- ~ Able to make a reply to company owner
- ~ Removed support@crewfire.com from email
- Added feature: multiple file upload for manual campaigns
- Added feature: Email notifications for when you need to approve or reject posts
- Added feature: Allow comments on post approval or rejection

- We eliminated the “next” button so a user would automatically go to the next step with one-click
- Expanded the action dropdown menu so each option only takes one line
- Admins can manually add or subtract points in bulk & add a comment
- You can now manually add/subtract points from an ambassadors profile
- Campaign Reports Update Updated the CSS for a more polished look
- Updated the completed rewards tab
- Replaced the reward phases from a dropdown filter to tabs
- Changed layout for the team section of CrewFire with an easier way to add new teams
