CrewFire Product Changelog
We are always hard at work creating new product features and listening to customer requests. CrewFire is constantly evolving, and below you will find our master list of product changes, dating back to June 2020.

January 20th, 2023
Here are the CrewFire product updates from the past week:
- New Feature: Added a new option for the rankings called "Balance," which will show you the current number of points an ambassador has on a given day; there is a date picker for you to select the day you want to see the balance
- New Feature: Rewards: Reward order details are now in separate columns in the CSV download
- Bug: Submissions: In the ambassador portal, links in the description of a submission activity were going off the page
- ~ This has been fixed
- Bug: Analytics: Under the ambassador section of analytics, active ambassadors are higher than the number of community members
- ~ This has been fixed, and the date is accurate now
- Bug: Analytics: Deleted teams showing up in teams breakdown for analytics
- ~ This has been fixed, and deleted teams will not show up in team breakdown in analytics
- Bug: Ambassador Table: The join date showed the date the ambassador applied and not when they were accepted into the program
- ~ This has been changed and will now reflect the date the ambassador was approved into the program

January 13th, 2023
Here are the CrewFire product updates from the past week:
- New Feature: Admins can now resent acceptance emails to ambassadors in case the ambassador doesn't receive the email
- New Feature: Community post notifications for team posts will redirect to the actual post instead of the global feed
- New Feature: There are now onboarding widgets available to admins to help them get set for easy onboarding
- ~ You will find the help widget icon in the bottom right-hand corner of your CrewFire profile, and this will automatically start your first time signing in
- Bug: Ambassadors not were not receiving acceptance emails
- ~ This was happening to ambassadors that were already in CrewFire. We have fixed this, so now whenever an ambassador is accepted into a program; they will receive the acceptance email
- Bug: Arrows for submissions weren't working
- ~ This has been fixed
- Bug: Admins couldn't see all of their submission activities due to the page limit of 50 items/page
- ~ We added multiple pages for submission activities so admins can see their complete history
- Bug: Submissions: Date picker for end date selects the wrong date
- ~ This has been fixed
- Bug: Engagement: Ambassador with pending application got points for engagement activities
- ~ This has been fixed

- New Feature: The new analytics dashboard is live! Be sure to test it out and let us know what you think
- New Feature: Referrals: Added help text for changing coupon code
- New Feature: Improve UX for the address field on the signup form
- Bug: Shares activity didn't show up after an admin created it, and the analytics at the top of the dashboard wasn't updating
- ~ This issue has been resolved
- Bug: YouTube short links don't work when linked in the description of a Submission activity
- ~ This has been resolved, and all YouTube links will embed now
- Bug: Deleted teams still showing up on the ambassador table
- ~ This has been resolved

Here are the CrewFire product updates from the past week:
- New Feature: You can now create Twitter engagement activities that are team specific
- New Feature: There is a button for you to be able to download all UGC submissions at once
- ~ Before, admins could only download submissions one at a time, but now you can select all submissions and download them all at once
- Bug: Points for Twitter engagement were displayed as "rejected"
- ~ This has been fixed and will now display as 0 points instead of rejected

November 4th, 2022
Here are the CrewFire product updates from the past week:
- New Feature: You can now add an ambassador to a team when you approve their application
- New Feature: If an ambassador tries to update their profile without an email address, they will get an error
- ~ This is in place to ensure an email address is always on file for an ambassador
- Bug: Certain ambassadors weren't receiving SMS messages
- ~ This was an issue with our SMS provider and has since been resolved
- Bug: CrewFire was experiencing periodic outages, which impacted engagement activities and community post notifications
- ~ This has been resolved, and all engagement activities and community post notifications are working
- Bug: Ambassador couldn't resubmit content after their submission was rejected
- ~ This issue has been fixed
- Bug: Company logo in email notifications was showing up oversized
- ~ This has been fixed, and all logos will show up in the standard size of 200x100

Here are the CrewFire product updates from the past week:
- New Feature: Added export to CSV function for engagement and submission activities
- ~ You can find the export to CSV button inside each engagement or submission activity in CrewFire
- Bug: Recruitment activities: Gave points for a rejected applicant
- ~ This was a short-lived bug that only affected three rejected applicants and has been fixed
- Bug: Ambassador Profile: Points don't match in the profile, and the right-hand corner
- ~ All inaccuracies in points in CrewFire have been fixed

September 2nd, 2022
Here are the CrewFire product updates from the past week:
- New Feature: We added a help box with an explanation for how to get points for engagement activities accurately
- Bug: Admins received a notification that said "only active users can do this action" when trying to create submissions
- ~ This was a short-lived bug due to changes in the code. It has been fixed.
- Bug: Some submission activities weren't showing up in the ambassador portal
- ~ This was due to changes in the code. This has been fixed.
- Bug: Whenever admins signed into their account, they were directed to the ambassador portal
- ~ This has been fixed. Now when admins log into their account, they will be directed to the admin portal
- Bug: Sorting didn't work for 'last active' date on the ambassador table
- ~ This has been fixed
- Bug: The number icons on the ambassador portal match the number of pending activities on the ambassador portal
- ~ This has been fixed, and the numbers in the ambassador portal for pending activities are now accurate

- Bug: Retweet data wasn't displaying in summary metrics at the top of Twitter Engagement activities
- ~ This has been fixed, and now you can see Retweet data for Twitter Engagement activities
- Bug: Follower count isn't showing for Instagram in an ambassador's profile
- ~ This has been fixed

- New Feature: You can enable or disable the feed in the ambassador portal
- ~ You can enable/disable this feature under the 'features' tab in the admin portal
- New Feature: We now open social networks for a Share or Engagement activity in a new window instead of the same window
- Bug: Ambassador tried to redeem a reward and got an unexpected error
- ~ This issue has been resolved

Here are the CrewFire product updates from the past week:
- New Feature: We added a download button so admins can download content submitted by ambassadors
- Bug: The Klaviyo integration wasn't working for a few specific customers
- ~ The integration has been fixed and is syncing with Klaviyo
- Bug: Shopify coupons still exist after deleting an ambassador
- ~ We removed all coupon codes that belonged to deleted ambassadors and changed the code to delete those coupons after an ambassador is removed from a team

July 8th, 2022
Here are the CrewFire product updates from the past week:
- New Feature: We now have a bug report form live in-app; click the question mark icon in the bottom right-hand corner to access the form
- New Feature: We added arrows to the reward so you can change the way the rewards are displayed in the ambassador portal
- Bug: Ambassadors weren't able to connect their social media accounts to CrewFire
- ~ We updated our authorization code, and this bug is fixed
- Bug: Customization: Admin tried to save edits to the signup form and got an error message
- ~ This issue has been fixed
- Bug: Ambassadors were able to submit content to archived submission activities
- ~ This has been fixed, and if an ambassador tries to submit content to an archived activity, they will get an error message
- Bug: The delete button wasn't working for archived submissions
- ~ This has been fixed, and you can delete archived submissions

June 24th, 2022
Here are the CrewFire updates from the past week:
- New Feature: New sorting options available for the Rankings
- ~ Now you can sort by points spent on rewards and current balance (current points - points spent on rewards)
- Bug: Engagement activities: some ambassadors weren't receiving full points
- ~ This issue has been fixed, and all ambassadors will receive the correct tier of points for Engagement Activities

June 10th, 2022
Here are the CrewFire updates from this past week:
- New Feature: Signup form: You can now customize the pending page image
- New Feature: Rewards: Point for Commission: You can now add icon upload
- Bug: Notifications: Emails weren't arriving in various ambassadors' inboxes
- ~ This was an issue due to our email provider; a small percentage of ambassadors weren't receiving emails from CrewFire. The issue has been resolved with our email provider
- Bug: Ambassadors couldn't connect their Twitter to CrewFire
- ~ This only happened to brands with a custom domain and has been resolved; ambassadors can now connect to Twitter

- New Feature: Custom Domain signin page: The colors and logo match brand's customization
- New Feature: Custom Domain: Display custom signup link in search bar when brand sets up a custom domain

- New Feature: We now offer recruitment links, so ambassadors can help brands scale their ambassador program

- New Feature: We added pagination to the rewards tab so you can now upload over 100 rewards
- New Feature: Custom URL signup form now displays the brand's logo and primary color
- Bug: Ambassadors weren't able to redeem rewards - they were receiving a JSON error
- ~ This issue has been solved
- Bug: For rewards, brands couldn't unselect a team after ticking the box when creating a reward
- ~ This issue has been solved and brands can now select and unselect teams when creating rewards

April 15th, 2022
Here are the CrewFire updates from this past week:
- New Feature: We created a custom text field for admins to be able to change the text that shows for each activity type in the ambassador portal
- ~ You can customize the text in the ambassador portal under customization in your profile
- Bug: Some admins received an 'unexpected error' when clicking on the permissions tab
- ~ This happened to selected accounts, and the issue has been resolved

Here are the CrewFire updates from this past week:
- Bug: Notifications were sent to ambassadors about a community post for a team they weren't in
- ~ This issue has been fixed, and we will now only send team-specific new post notifications to members
- Bug: Ambassadors were still able to use their affiliate links after the admin disabled referrals
- ~ The bug has been fixed, and any referrals generated after the links were disabled have been removed

- New Feature: We added pagination on all pages on CrewFire
- ~ Before, we had a page limit of 100 posts on almost every CrewFire page, but we removed that limit so brands and ambassadors on CrewFire can access all old content

March 25th, 2022
Here are the CrewFire updates from this past week:
- Update: Shopify recently changed its integration structure, so we updated our Shopify integration to ensure we can access the Price Rule
- ~ No CrewFire customers have been affected as we updated our internal code
- Bug: Some ambassadors received multiple points for a single Share
- ~ We fixed this issue and removed all duplicate points

March 18th, 2022
Here are the CrewFire updates from this past week:
- Bug: We had a page limit of 100 posts on various pages in CrewFire, so admins and ambassadors weren't able to see the entire history of items on a page (example: rewards, community posts, archived submissions)
- ~ We added pagination to every page in CrewFire so that admins and ambassadors can see the complete history of posts
- Bug: Page unresponsive after clicking on referrals in the ambassador portal
- ~ This issue has been solved

March 11th, 2022
Here are the CrewFire updates from this past week:
- New Feature: We now include USD next to the $ sign in the right-hand corner of the ambassador portal, so ambassadors know what currency they will be paid in
- New Feature: When a brand disables referrals in CrewFire, we remove the 'payout' section on the ambassador portal not to confuse ambassadors
- Bug: Notifications going out at a delay or notifications not going out at all
- ~ CrewFire has been experiencing issues with our notification/activity queue on and off since the start of the year; you can read more about it here in our incident report
- ~ Currently, our team believes we found the root cause of the issue and deployed a solution for it, but if you are still experiencing notifications issues over the following weeks, please get in touch with a member of our team
- Bug: Some ambassadors were able to spam Twitter engagement activities and receive multiple points
- ~ We fixed this bug and removed all duplicate points that the ambassador earned
- Bug: The "Approval All" button wasn't working for admins when mass-approving submissions
- ~ This was due to intermittent errors, and we have improved the error handling in the app and UI, so now it'll alert on errors and keep going with the rest of the batch
- Bug: We were still sending notifications to deleted ambassadors
- ~ This issue only happened to a select few ambassadors and has been fixed

March 4th, 2022
Over the past month, the CrewFire team has gone through some internal changes. We have been busy hiring and training our new developer and making some internal changes to our code to make the product better.
So our feature updates have paused for a month, but we are back!
Here are the CrewFire updates from this past week:
- Bug: When a small group of ambassadors clicked on a link in an email notification, they received an 'Unexpected error" message
- ~ This only happened to a small group of ambassadors that work for two or more brands. We found the issue and resolved the problem
- Bug: The hex code a brand put in their customization didn't match their brand color
- ~ This issue has been resolved.
- Bug: For specific articles linked in the instructions of submission activities, the file size and file name were showing up in the preview text on the ambassador side
- ~ This has been resolved; we removed the file size and file name from the preview text
- Bug: When an ambassador hit 'redeem' for a reward, there is a $10 badge next to the point value
- ~ This has been resolved and the $10 badge has been removed

January 28th, 2022
Here are the CrewFire updates from this past week:
- Bug: We removed pending ambassadors from the ambassador count under the Permissions tab
- ~ This was due to our Permission System feature and has been fixed, so only approved applicants will reflect in the ambassador count under the Permissions tab
- Bug: The first page ambassadors saw when logging in to their CrewFire account was a page saying, "You don't have permission to view this page." This was due to the Permission feature we launched
- ~ This page has been removed, and ambassadors won't see this page when logging into their account or accessing their account via notifications they receive from CrewFire
- Bug: The arrows to rearrange the position of submission activities weren't working
- ~ This bug has been fixed
- Bug: CrewFire was sending activity notifications to pending applicants
- ~ This bug was due to our Permission System and has been fixed

Here are the CrewFire updates from this past week:
- Bug: Many CrewFire users were experiencing delayed and duplicate email and SMS notifications
- ~ Our queue system was experiencing glitches, so we cleared out all backed up notifications and reset the queue
- ~ If you didn't receive a notification for an activity or program update last week or this weekend, it is due to the clearing of the queue; notifications should go back to normal over the weekend and next week

- New Feature: You can now create custom text with our new Custom Text feature
- ~ You can find this feature under the Customization tab next to the Custom CSS box
- New Feature: We added a date picker and multiple pages under Referrals so admins can see a complete history of orders
- New Feature: We updated our Klaviyo integration to allow admins to sort by segments and lists

- Bug: We remove canceled companies as an option when selecting a company

- ~ This issue has been resolved, and if a reward is assigned to a team and the team is deleted, the reward will still show up on the ambassador side

Here are the CrewFire updates from this past week:
- New Feature: Custom event coupon codes
- ~ This new feature allows admins to create custom coupon codes for specific events, for example, Black Friday. Admins can select the date range, coupon rate and commission rate, and the format of the coupon code.
- ~ This feature is currently only available for Shopify customers but will soon be available for Woocommerce as well.

Here are the CrewFire updates from this past week:
- Bug: For referrals, earnings weren't accurately showing how much an ambassador had earned in commission
- ~ This issue has been solved and earnings are now being accurately reflected
- Bug: On the address field in the signup form, the states and provinces only showing US states and Canadian Provinces
- ~ This issue has been resolved and now ambassadors that live outside of the U.S or Canada can select their state or province
- Bug: Admins got an unexpected error when viewing the Applicants tab
- ~ This issue has been resolved

Here are the CrewFire updates from this past week:
- New Feature: We created aggregate of commissions for each affiliate by adding a customizable reporting period
- ~ You can find the new reporting feature under the 'Payouts' tab in CrewFire
- Bug: Engagement notifications were being sent out on a delay
- ~ This bug was complex but we were able to discover the issue and resolved it - engagement notifications will go back to being sent out when they are
- Bug: Some admins received an 'Unexpected Error' when clicking on the Referral tabs to view their orders
- ~ The bug has been identified and the issue has been resolved

Here are the CrewFire updates from this past week:
- Bug: Admins couldn't update existing rewards - after clicking save, the page sat and loaded
- ~ This has been resolved
- Bug: Some users received a 'No User Found' error when attempting to login
- ~ This was due to spaces being added to emails when signing up. The error has been resolved and all spaces added before or after email addresses have been removed
- Bug: Profile pictures were being stretched horizontally in the community tab
- ~ This has been resolved, if they are still being stretched for you, please clear your cache and log back in

Here are the CrewFire updates from this past week:
- New Feature: We now offer a new rewards type where ambassadors can exchange points for commission
- ~ Your brand will be able to set the conversion between points to cash and ambassadors can redeem this reward in the reward section of CrewFire
- Bug: Some admins were receiving the same notification several times
- ~ This was a small glitch that we have fixed

Here are the CrewFire updates from this past week:
- Bug: The number shown on the Submission page that lists pending submissions wasn't reflecting the actual number of unapproved submissions
- ~ This has been fixed and now shows the correct number
- Bug: A select few Ambassadors weren't able to log into CrewFire on mobile
- ~ This only affected a small percentage of ambassadors and was resolved, all ambassadors are able to log in on mobile now

Here are the CrewFire updates from this last week:
- New Feature: We now allow customization for Engagement Campaign help text that appears in the ambassador portal
- ~ You can find this field under the Customization page
- New Feature: We now show how many points each Share Activity is worth under the Share page on the admin side
- New Feature: You can now view when was the last activity date for any ambassador under their profile
- New Feature: We now send notifications about completed orders to ambassadors
- For comments on Engagement Activities: We made a fix to ensure that points are credited when a post was made, not when it's picked up by CrewFire
- Bug: A few ambassadors could not connect their Facebook to CrewFire
- ~ The issue has been resolved

- Improved grid, CSS, and style to the Ambassador Rewards page
- We improved ambassador profiles by showing the bio, website, and socials with an improved design

- New Feature: The loader wheel now following brand colors
- New Feature: Invitation emails use the custom domain
- Bug: On the Community Tab, profile pictures were not showing up in comment replies
- ~ We fixed this issue and now profile pictures show up in all replies
- Bug: For shares activities on the admin side, the 'Facebook' and 'Twitter' labels were on the same line when creating an activity
- ~ This has been fixed and now each label has its own line

- New Feature: We now offer WooCommerce integration!
- Bug: Some ambassadors were unable to connect to their Instagram to CrewFire
- ~ We were able to find the issue and are working to implement a fix so that Instagram connections are seamless for all ambassadors

- New Feature: We updated our URL structure to include company ids in the URL, so each brand now has a unique company URL
- ~ This opens the door for a multicompany future where ambassadors/admins can experience being part of multiple brands much more seamlessly
- We added pagination to the ambassador page on the admin side

- ~ Before, admins had to click through each page to get to a specific page, but now they can jump to a specific page. If an admin clicks into an ambassador's profile, then presses the 'back' button, they will land back on the page they skipped to

Here are the new CrewFire features from the past week:
- New Feature: Admins now can invite new admins via email
- ~ Before, to add a new admin, the person had to be added as an ambassador first before they could be made an admin, but now an admin can go into their settings and invite a team member to be an admin via email without having to become an ambassador first
- New Feature: Ambassadors can cancel reward orders that they placed, and the points that were deducted from their profile will be added back automatically
- Bug: Some brands were receiving an "Unexpected Errors" message when trying to look at submissions from ambassadors for Submission Activities
- ~ This occurred due to a few small changes we made in the code, but it has been fixed

- Bug: Some ambassadors were getting an 'incorrect password' error when trying to log in even though they hadn't changed their password

- ~ The new design improves UX and will help admins streamline approving/rejecting submissions and tracking UGC

- ~ We changed the design of ambassador profiles to resemble a CRM, and you now have access to more rich information about each of your ambassadors
- New Feature: You can now embed Instagram Reels into a community post
- New Feature: Engagement activities (Instagram and Twitter) - we now show post stats (likes, retweets, replies)
- New Feature: Engagement activities - We now show total count like posts & comment posts
- New Feature: We now notify admin via email and/or text when an ambassador makes a post in the community
- Bug: Admins were getting an 'unexpected error' message when clicking on an ambassador's submission
- ~ This was due to an issue with the new design update, but the issue has been resolved

Here are the newest CrewFire product updates:
- New Feature: Admins can now assign rewards to a specific team or teams
- New Feature: You can change the order of community pinned posts - order is now pinned by post date (descending)
- New Feature: If a reward order from an ambassador is canceling/deleting, points will automatically be refunds to the ambassador
- New Feature: Before an ambassador completes their first Engagement Activity, we will now require ambassadors to connect their Instagram account before allowing them to like/view an Instagram post
- Bug: Admins weren't receiving team notifications for new community posts, new activities, etc
- ~ We shipped a fix to ensure that notifications are also sent to owner of the account

Here are a few product updates from the past week:
- Design update to the sidebar, now all badges use the brand's color and not gray
- Improved the UI on buttons and remove uses of gray button style and replaced with secondary white
- Improved the UX on the Admin side, we made the modal wider for the community comments
- Last week, we added the feature to add emoji reactions, but we updated the emoji options to reflect the most popular emojis voted on by ambassadors
- We updated the design for the community comments, it is now simplified and resembles substack
- Updated Twitter Engagement Activities, we now show the Twitter logo on left and truncated text
- Updated the Twitter Engagement Activity notification text
- ~ The text has been updated to: "New Twitter engagement activity! Earn points for liking, retweeting, and replying! See details"

Welcome back! Check out what we have been up to:
- We are now charging for SMS notifications
- ~ Each SMS notification sent will cost a brand $0.01 and we will bill at the end of the month
- Bug: Ambassadors could see all pending activities (their submission and submissions from other ambassadors) listed under each Submission Activity
- ~ This has been fixed and now ambassadors will only see their pending submissions
- Bug: Pending submissions were showing up with 0 points in ambassadors' profiles
- ~ This has been fixed and now Submission Activities will only show up in an ambassadors profile once they are approved and points are rewarded
- Bug: Some accounts were still sending out SMS notifications even though SMS messaging was disabled in their account
- ~ The issue has been resolved and SMS notifications will only be sent out if the feature is enabled for the brand
- Bug: The "Switch Company" button was missing in the admin portal
- ~ We found the issue and now the button is back and working properly
- Bug: Admins were having issues selecting a start date and start time for activities
- ~ We fixed the bug so now admins will be able to set a start date and time without any glitches
- Bug: Team activities weren't showing up in the ambassador portal for members of a given team
- ~ This has been resolved and now team activities show up in the ambassador portal
- Bug: Admins couldn't approve an applicant, got an error saying 'code already in use'
- ~ This is due to us pulling from historical codes (even if the codes aren't in use anymore) and lead to the error. We updated the signup to generate a unique code looking at history and deleted all old codes, so this won't happen anymore

We have some new features that we are excited to share with you! Here is what we have been up to:
- New Feature: When you click on an ambassador and head to their profile in the admin portal, you will now find a notes tab
- ~ This will help teams collaborate within CrewFire, simply leave a note and the other admins on your account can check it out the next time they log in!
- New Feature: Added a enable/disable badge next to all features in the Features Tab
- New Feature: We added the ability for admins to sort their Submission/UGC activities
- We have removed the company name from SMS messaging, so now you will have exactly 140 characters per message if you want to send a custom SMS message to ambassadors
- Bug: The 'Change Coupon' button was briefly removed from ambassadors' profiles but now it has been reinstated
- Bug: Some ambassador coupon codes were not working, but we found the issue and they are all now working normally
- Bug: Notifications for new community posts were directing ambassadors to the page where they can leave a comment and not to the actual content
- ~ We brought the content back to the comments page (+ scroll to comments when linked from the community page)
- Bug: Point-based referrals were being displayed with long decimal points in the ambassador history
- ~ We added a fix so now, the number will round up or down to the nearest whole number

We have a lot of great updates for you! Here is what we have been up to:
- New Feature: We now show your engagement activity history in the ambassador portal and the date the activity ended
- ~ Ambassadors can go in and engage with old activities, but it is clear that they won't receive points for doing so
- New Feature: You can now manually add/subtract commission
- ~ You have always been able to add/subtract points, but now you can do the same thing but with money
- New Feature: Admins can now change ambassador coupon codes
- New Feature: You can now choose to enable/disable the ability for ambassadors to change their own coupon codes
- ~ Find this feature under your Feature Settings in the admin portal
- New Feature: We created a feature for you to be able to leave a comment when you approve or reject an applicant
- ~ This is helpful for admins to give a more detailed reason why an ambassador was rejected, especially if the team wants the person to apply again in the future
- New Feature: Added a team field on the full ambassador list, so it's easy to see if an ambassador is assigned to a team or not and which team they are assigned to
- We added a way to save all profile pictures, even if they were pulled from an ambassador's social media account
- ~ Some pictures that were pulled from social media accounts were being deleted after a certain amount of time, but now the image will perminently stay on the ambassadors profile
- Bug: Spacing on the ambassador table was off on mobile, but we have fixed this by collapsing certain fields
- Bug: Personalized SMS messages were cutting off so ambassadors couldn't read the whole message
- ~ We solved this issue by adding a 140 character limit so that it fits into a standard text. You can always send multiple messages if you need to write over 140 characters

Lots of really great features we are excited to share with you! Here is what we have been up to:
- New Feature: Our newest design overhaul went live last Friday! You will find a more polished CrewFire and even better UI
- ~ Be sure to check it out here: CrewFire Design Overhaul
- New Feature: We added a feature that will bounce applicants to the top of the page if there was an error in their application
- New Feature: Added a 'see more' button on the community, so long posts won't take up the whole page
- New Feature: Made a change so that ambassadors that are rewarded withpoints instead of money for referrals won't see anything related to money in their profile
- ~ This will help solve any confusion an ambassador might have regarding commission and payouts if they are only earning points for referrals
- Bug: Ambassadors couldn't reapply to a program after they were rejected with the same email
- ~ We have now made it so ambassadors can reapply to a program (if they applied and were rejected) and use the same email
- Bug: Admins couldn't approve or reject applicants on mobile, but this has been fixed and restored to normal
- Bug: Admins couldn't delete a post from the community tab, but this has been resolved
- Bug: SMS links were not working on January 28th, but we fixed the issue and are working normally
- Bug: Ambassadors email addresses were getting deleted after they were approved into the program
- ~ This happened over the weekend of January 23rd, but has been fixed. If an ambassador is unable to log into their account but has been approved into the program, please let us know and we will get that fixed right away!

We have some big features for you! Here is what we have been up to:
- New Feature: Ambassadors can now change their notification settings
- ~ Under their profile settings, they can choose to opt-in for SMS notifications, email notifications, or both
- New Feature: Reward images are now shown the 'order' page
- New Feature: Ambassadors content is now available to download in their profile feed
- ~ They will be able to view the comments from admins, the number of points they received, and any copy they wrote
- New Feature: More information available for admins on the Submissions/UGC dashboard
- ~ In the table displaying all your submission activities, you will now find the points, groups, and end dates listed
- New Feature: Bulk Approval or Rejection feature now available
- ~ You can find this feature on Submission/UGC activities and for ambassador applicants
- New Feature: Adjustable points for Submission/UGC Activities
- ~ You can now reward partial points for an ambassador's UGC submission if it wasn't quite up to your expectations
- New Feature: The rankings can now be downloaded to a CSV file
- New Feature: A larger, multiple-line text box now available for text-based Submission Activities
- Feature: The 'delete' ambassador button is back!
- Feature: If you select a 'one-time' submission for a submission activitiy, any rejected submissions won't count towards the 'one-time' submisssion, so they can keep submitting until it matches the brand's expectations
- Bug: Comments weren't being tracked for engagement activities, but the bug has been fixed are are being tracked as normally
- Bug: Unsubscribe link in email footer not working, but it has been fixed and is working as planned

Here is our first feature bug report of the year! Here is what we have been up to over the past few weeks:
- New Feature: We now notify admins when a new order has been placed
- ~ Soon, we will have a feature where we will notify ambassadors when they make a sale, so check back for that!
- We made a change so email addresses are not cap-sensitive, so you can use lower or uppercase letters and will be able to login normally
- ~ Some people found that they were having issues logging in because there were capital letters in the email saved on their profile, but we have fixed that now, so you can use capital or lowercase with ease
- All engagement posts from November and before have now been archived
- ~ Ambassadors will only be able to go to the Engagement page when there is a new post, and it will automatically archive after 24 hours
- We restored a second pass for ambassadors when they go to complete a Share Activity
- ~ Now, ambassadors will be taken to an instruction page where they will be able to download the content that they are supposed to share before they get redirected to their social media page
- Bug: When an admin went to make a new reward, they would type the title and then begin to type the description and the reward would disappear
- ~ This has been fixed and restored to normal
- Bug: There were issues with notifications not going out to various admins and ambassadors
- ~ This has been restored to normal and if you are still not receiving notifications, please whitelist notifications@crewfire.com to see if that helps!

Here are the features and updates we have made over the past week:
- New Feature: You can now put a cap on submissions
- ~ This will help reduce duplicate activities and make sure ambassadors are submitting content on schedule
- New Feature: We implemented a 'forgot password' reset button
- New Feature: We added an 'eye' icon on the login page so anyone can view the password they just wrote
- ~ This will help ambassadors/admins be sure they entered the right password
- New Feature: We added a feature so admins can change the position of the custom fields on signup forms
- ~ This will help you have more flexibility when creating your signup forms and you won't have to delete and re-upload your custom fields!
- New Feature: Signup Ambassador - Allow signed in users to join company
- ~ This will help make it easier for ambassadors to join several different companies with the same email address and can switch to their active accounts while their application for a new company is pending
- Changed the text for submissions on the ambassador view to be more condensed
- Bug: Signup forms weren't working and were being redireced to a login page
- ~ This has been restored to normal

Here are the updates we have made over the last six days:
- The image for rewards are now clickable
- Improved design/layout for applicants on mobile
- A WYSIWYG editor is now available when creating reward descriptions
- In the community tab, posts are now sorted by most recent comments
- A delete button is now available for archived activities
- The option to manually upload Share Activities is now available
- Bug: Notifications were not working for certain admins/ambassadors but we deployed a fix for this issue
- Bug: YouTube videos wouldn't unpack in the community tab, but we fixed this so now you can post YouTube videos, just like before!
- Bug: Some points weren't showing up correctly, but we changed that for the ambassadors affected and now all points should be accurately recorded

Here are the updates we made over the last week:
- New Feature: There are three new updates to the Community page which will make communication and engagement that much more robust on CrewFire!
- ~ Ambassadors now have a rich editor when they go to make a post, so they can post images, videos, links,and more
- ~ Admins can click on the like button and see who liked the post
- ~ Ambassadors can now edit their comments
- Bug: Ambassadors were getting an 'unexpected error' message when trying to switch from one account to another
- ~ This issue has been resolved and ambassadors can switch accounts with ease
- Bug: Some admins were getting an 'unexpected error' message when clicking on a link for a new activity on mobile
- ~ This has been restored to normal and admins and ambassadors can click on a link and get directed to the new activity
- Bug: The dimensions were off on the Rewards page on mobile, but this has been restored to normal
- ~ We also adjusted the height of the reward image so everything looks polished and uniform
- ~ This has been restored to normal and admins and ambassadors can click on a link and get directed to the new activity

Here are the updates we made over the last week and a half:
- Bug: Admins couldn't export pending rewards
- ~ We restored this to normal, so now you can export all of your pending rewards
- Bug: Some ambassadors weren't receiving emails that said if their submissions for a Submission Activities was approved/rejected
- ~ This was resolved and now all ambassadors will get an email to know the status of their submission!
- We created a pop-up message to let ambassadors know they can't perform a Share Activity for Instagram on desktop
- Ambassadors now have the ability to switch brands from their profile. This is extremely helpful for ambassadors that work with more than one brand!
- Bug: Ambassadors were getting an error message when they tried to submit content for submissions
- ~ This only affected a small population of ambassadors, but now it has been restored and ambassadors should have no issues submitting content
- Bug: Some ambassadors were getting a Social Networks "Connection Timed Out" error message, but this has been resolved
- You can now invite potential ambassadors to join your team via email directly in CrewFire and have the option to customize the email invite in the customization settings
- Bug: When a new submission went out, not every ambassador was receiving a notification
- ~ After running some tests, we were able to resolve this bug and notifications will now go out to all of your ambassadors when you post a new activity
- We changed the location of where you can see how many active ambassadors you have. You can find the number right next to the 'export to CSV' button under the 'ambassador' tab
- Bug: When a new submission went out, not every ambassador was receiving a notification
- ~ This issue has been resolved and communication about a new activity is back to functioning normally
- Bug: Some admins were having trouble creating and submitting submission activties, but this has been resolved
- Bug: Some admins were receiving Facebook popup says "invalid app ID"
- ~ This issue has been solved and admins and ambassadors shouldn't get an 'invalid app ID' message anymore
- Bug: Rejected applicants were getting notifications from CrewFire
- ~ This has been solved so now, if an ambassador is rejected, they will only get a rejection email from CrewFire and no other program details
- Bug: Rejected applicant showing up on the ranking
- ~ This bug has been fixed so now the ranking will only reflect active ambassadors
- We restored the spacing for each edit page for an activity so there is proper and ample space for you to create activities!
- Bug: Duplicate submissions were being submitted when an ambassador clicked the 'submit' button more than once, but this issue has been resolved. Now, you will only get one submission per ambassador
- Bug: The footer was crowding the bottom of the page on mobile and making it difficult for ambassadors to submit content
- ~ This has been restored to normal

Here are the updates we made over the last two days:
- Added a new way to approve a post you want to boost for an engagement activity
- ~ Admins will now be able to approve or archive an engagement posts directly from the Engagement page if you have chosen to opt in for approving the post before it is sent to your ambassadors
- Bug: The ability to send a message to all ambassadors wasn't working but now it is restored and functioning as normal
- Bug: Some ambassadors weren't able to log into their accounts
- ~ This bug should be fixed but we are in current development to ensure every ambassador has an easy time logging into their CrewFire account
- Bug: There was an issue earlier with points not showing up on approved submissions, but now the points will reflect and appear next to the submission after you select 'approve'
- Bug: There was no delete button for rewards, but now you will be able to delete or archive an activity you don't want listed anymore
- ~ The layout for rewards is much cleaner now as well! You will be able to see the image you select on the admin side, just like you would on the ambassador side
- Bug: There was an issue where ambassadors could not see the content they submitted for a submission/UGC activity, but now they will be able to see what they posted and the feedback from the admin

This week, we launched the new CrewFire platform. With any new product, there were some small bugs and issues that needed to be sorted out. Below is a summary of what we have fixed and the features we have updated leading up to Wednesday, November 18th!
- We shipped our new product! Despite the slight hiccups, the new platform will be faster, more intuitive and has more polish!
- Added new elements at the bottom of the main dashboard:
- ~ Added containers at the bottom for easy navigation and to help you jump to the activity you want to go to
- ~ One graph that easily shows program statistics, sorted by day for easy viewing
- Feature update: Now there is a modal with extra questions for ambassadors to answer after they have been approved by an admin. This is 100% optional!
- Submissions on ambassadors side: Now they can see what they posted, what they wrote, if the submission was approved or rejected and the comment from the admin
- There is now a way for you to manage ambassador submissions for a submission/UGC activity
- ~ You will be able to see how many pending activities you have to approve or reject from the submission/UGC dashboard
- ~ You now have the ability to undo a submission you approved or rejected
- Now ambassadors will be instructed to add their full name when signing up so you will have an easier time organizing your ambassadors
- The ratio of an image in the Community page has been fixed on mobile
- ~ Before, it was tight and long and now it fits to the page
- If you ask your ambassadors to put their phone number in one of the fields for sign up, then it will automatically be copied over into the settings
- ~ If you do this, that means your ambassadors will automatically be opted in to receive SMS notifications
- Bug: Points are now available next to the rewards. When we first shipped, they weren’t available
- Bug: There were no points showing up for the month of November in the ranking but now that is fixed
- Bug: Approval and rejection emails for submissions weren’t being set to ambassadors, but now that is back to functioning normally
- Bug: There was an issue seeing sub-menu options (like pending orders, rewards orders etc) on mobile view but that has been restored
- Bug: The sign up form configuration was off for sign up forms on mobile and desktop but now it has been restored
- Bug: The email was case sensitive for sign in but it has been restored to normal
- Bug: The margin between submission/UGC has been been changed to have a space between each element

Here are the updates we made during this week:
- We eliminated the “next” button so a user would automatically go to the next step with one-click
- Expanded the action dropdown menu so each option only takes one line
- Admins can manually add or subtract points in bulk & add a comment
- You can now manually add/subtract points from an ambassadors profile
- Campaign Reports Update Updated the CSS for a more polished look
- Updated the completed rewards tab
- Replaced the reward phases from a dropdown filter to tabs
- Changed layout for the team section of CrewFire with an easier way to add new teams
